A fresh piece of news made us very happy: the new European project ARTEMis has been funded!!!

ARTEMis (AleRT and impact-forecast standards for Emergency Management) focuses on the adoption of uniform and standardised protocols, tools and procedures for emergency management and risk awareness at pan-European level.

Funded by the European Commission through the Horizon-IA (Innovation Action) programme, ARTEMis is a three-year project that will involve 17 partners from 10 different countries (Greece – coordinator, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Romania) in which we, at CRS , we will mainly focus on landslides and earthquakes.

An excellent opportunity both to strengthen collaborations between different countries through knowledge transfer and capacity building, and to improve risk awareness by developing innovative tools to visualise risks, vulnerabilities and exposures, as well as to raise awareness among EU citizens on local risks and measures to address them.
